Big Sleep is the name of the imaginary 'band/group, that all the music I create with my friend and musical collaborator, Tony Webster goes under. Tony is pictured on the right in the photo; me on the left in the dark blue suit.
Tony is an artist / illustrator, writer of lyrics and stories, song arranger and a mine of information on any subject under the sun . . .
I (David A Briggs) play all the instruments (mostly of the stringed variety), perform all the studio 'jiggery-pokery', sing and dabble a little in the visual arts.

Can't put my finger on it, but there's something very special about this one, the vibe, the vocs and effects, the vintage...yes Carlo, Kev, and Rodz, and jangly flow, but it goes well beyond that...what a set-up, the perfect melodic canvas for the classic haunting delivery. One thing's for certain, I absolutely love this, wow!

Your music encompasses all that's good about Brit Rock/Pop...jangly guitars, a nod towards the 60's, a touch of psychedelia, and a slight quirkiness about the lyrics, yet always an important message to be found within. Top notch radio-friendly track, instantly likeable!
