and all the bad things
that are going on
because you're aware and you don't care

to gain your wealth
you'll never care
our country goes to wars
that we don't understand
while politicians are
holding our hands
and you don't care
people say don't worry
it's been going on forever
but i can't help it
i'm on the end of my teather

it's like david and goliath
the big guys oppress
and we're too small to fight them
and that's why i'm depressed
and because you don't care
we're always the victims
of mass manipulation
you revel in it
you need the stimulation
and you don't care
you're told to work for money
and then spend it on trash
and to support turning cities
into piles of ash
and you don't care
i don't care if it's naive
to ask for some freedom
or to live on a planet
that resembles eden
i can only ever care
