Lyrics
The Father Les Costello Song Tell me that you love me darlin and walk by my side And I'll come back to home and you Tell me that you'll wait for me until my time is through And I'll come back to home and you I promise you I'll do my best to be a better man Our little boy will proudly say He fellas meet my dad The tears I cried has filled my cup more than you'll ever know And I wanna go back to home and you When father Les Costello shook my hand and spoke of you It was good news I felt okay And the Salvation Army sang on your birthday Church bells rang seemed far away And I promise you I'll do my best to be a better man Our little boy will proudly say hey fellas meet my dad My young friend Jim MacKenzie went home the other day Three times he tried this time he did So tell me that you love........
