was born in 82, grew up with these consoles. their limitations gave them their unique character. very nostalgic =]
i read somewhere that japanese game composers where heavily influenced by early 70s prog and psychedelic music thus resulting to very trippy video game music like megaman, mario, castlevania and early FF games.
