Hey all.. The name is Jacob and you're currently reading the introduction to my little spot here on SoundClick. Here you can listen to all my music and I certainly hope you'll enjoy all of it - as my prime goal is to please my listeners. Music is my hobby, my desire, my dream, my life.. I've spent countless hours making all the music here on this page - but this is only a small fraction of what I've made through the past many years. I am a self-taught musician and have never had a teacher to tell me to do x or y. You can also hear that in my music - as sometimes I 'lack' the disciplin a theoretical student would have. But I think it's a good thing - 'cause you are more free to do exactly what your heart desire. After all.. Isn't music all about heart?

Story behind the song
I had the intro in my head for several months before I actually started writing this tune... I also had to re-vamp how I wanted to sing it, as I simply couldn't reach the notes I wanted to.. Like the result never the less though. :)

Great sounding intro and vocals, at about 1:08 it takes on a twist with great powerful driving force. :) Good vocal range throughout and solo is very fitting, 3:35 and mellow piano outro :) Very nicely done my friend!

WOW ! You are born at the wrong time my friend - this intro is so much rainbow's 80's ! The next part is more metal though.... Great song in all aspects - but I am most impressed with the intro part and especially the vocals in that part too. Okay - nice pitching too in the fast part - I hope you still can be friends with your neighbours after recording that vocal :). Nice solo too (turn it up please :)). And piano outro... very nice - very nice theater sound on that. Great work Jacob :)
