Brian became part of the Vancouver Island music scene soon after moving to Nanaimo in 1991. He spent a few years doing pub & party cover gigs until he discovered the Nanaimo Songwriters Circle in 1998. From that point on he has been pursuing the craft of songwriting and collaboration. Brian has produced two studio albums of his original songs, 2004‘s “One In A Million” with Jerry Paquette at Raincoast Studio and in 2012 “Back to the muse” with award winning producer Andrew Oye which brought a nomination for Male Vocal of the year at the Vancouver Island Music Awards. His original songs have been included in independent films, an international CD compilation and have won internet song contests.

Lyrics
SEEMS TO ME Brian Hazelbower / Ron Keck Seems to me that every day Seems in each and every way Gotta go Gotta tow that line You know I gotta walk the walk You know I gotta punch the clock Don’t get paid To b*** and whine Seems to me that eight to five Barely makes me feel alive But that’s how it’s how I pay my dues You know I sure don’t want to stay But I just can’t give up the pay I Can’t win and I just might loose I ain’t askin’ for the moon Don’t want no silver spoon Don’t wanna be a king or a millionaire Don’t need no Cadillac Or no banker on my back Just need to know you love me and you’re there Seems to me that every day Workin’ harder for that pay Sometimes It gets real tough Been workin’ years and years you know Still got plenty more to go But I think I’ve had enough Seems to me I’ll sing a song About a man who’s travelin’ on an I wish I was in his shoes If I went and hit the road Would it lighten up my load To sing them workin’ blues I ain’t askin’ for the moon Don’t want no silver spoon Don’t wanna be a king or a millionaire Don’t need no Cadillac Or no banker on my back Just need to know you love me and you’re there X 2
