This is my desire
that I will seek the Lord
and dwell in His house
all the days of my life
Seeking His beauty
Beholding His face.
He shall hide me in
His secret place of grace
When my mother and father
forsook me. God in His
great mercy took a hold of me.
He heard my cry and strengthened
my heart and filled my mouth with
praise. I would have lost all of my
hope, unless I had believed that
He would answer my cries of distress
pouring out His goodness and putting
my soul at rest.
I will sing for joy as I wait upon You, Lord
Your face I will sekk, do not hide from me
This I know, You will never let me go.
