John Garrett and Jeff Brown have been composing music together since they attended high school. They have a huge backlog of material and have written songs in many different styles.
Every once in a while I come up with something that ends up not being used for anything. This is one of those songs. I wrote it thinking John would come up with words for it and he never did, yet. Most Parts Played on guitar Synth except the drums were programed in on a keyboard. Trying to program drums from guitar is a nightmare so I have a keyboard pretty much just for programing drums Cause I really can't play keyboard. Song Was called Genisis as I was trying to sound like them. This was probably the most tedious Drum programming I have ever done, but the best. I really took care to make it sound as close to a "real" drummer as possible, no 5 hand drumming like you sometimes end up doing with drum machines. There are never more than 4 things hitting at a time like a real drummer. Someday I will get John to write lyrics for it.
