After doing the guitar parts I tried to sing it, but it sounded like a dying cat... so I went a COMPLETELY different direction with it instead.
I actually aimed at making the more distorted parts of the song FIRST, then play the quieter and more mellowed out section LAST. Meanwhile, I kept in a fairly faithful solo that's like the recorded album just because I was curious to see how it all sounded when put together.
