A lady told me she always packs heat when she goes to New Oreans and I thought that was a good start for a song. This is my "a safer environment for the working girls" song. Think about it Fellas. Graham

Strictly a demos only performer <br />Jam at live gigs sometimes and have a whole lotta fun doing it
I am writer, and general Mister Nice Guy. I am not a performer but manage to squeak out stuff good enough for others to hear and do better with. Lucky for you lot. I get a few other people to sing and play some of my stuff. I do make Karaoke tracks of my songs and perform them every Saturday night, trotting twix the two local pubs that do karaoke. I have a whole heap more fun than doing covers all the time. Most weeks having at least one new song to try out on the punters. Have seven recorded and getting airplay. And not only on my show Roar Radio either. Backing music for Born To Be Blue is now on a video showing the Esperance service providers. Out soon. More later.

Lyrics
The Cajun Queen © Copyright APRA Graham Henderson 2004 They call her The Cajun Queen. ‘Cause she cruises New Orleans. Taking tourists for a ride. Down by the riverside. They say she was a good girl. ‘Til some man done her wrong. Now everywhere she goes. She takes a forty four along. She packs heat when she walks her beat. Down on Boubon street. So Mister best remember. You better treat her right. ‘Cause there are rumours going round. Of floaters that were found. Who were last seen alive. With the Cajun Queen. Chorus Oh, she’s the Cajun Queen and in New Orleans. She’s got a reputation. So you better treat her with respect. Or she may blow your vacation. If you and her should take a walk. Down by the riverside. Treat her right and pay her well. Or it might be a one way ride. Instrumental Now, this may be fact or fiction. I don’t know if it’s true. But I think it’s a possability. So I pass it on to you. Enjoy your stay in New Orleans. There’s so much to explore. But make sure your holiday. Ain’t one to die for. ‘Cause. Chorus She’s the Cajun Queen and in New Orleans. She’s got a reputation. So you better treat her with respect. Or she may blow your vacation. If you and her should take a walk. Down by the riverside. Treat her right and pay her well. Or it might be a one way ride.
