During the recording of the first Mix-tape compilation album T-Double was given the nickname after lyrist Trick Daddy Dollar for his ability to write, produce, rap. T-Double has excelled in all areas of music, from writing, performing and producing. Shooting Star /Thunderpipes will release their compilation “Street Magic” in July 2009. T-Double has since become a Local hood Celebrity in the Twin Cities. T-Double will open for acts such as Chris Brown, T.I., Ludacris, Young Buck, Busta Rhymes, Young Dro, Young Joc, Jon B, Lil Wayne, Clipse, Cherish, and Lil Scrappy, Lloyd, Tyrese, and has be played at The B96 in 2008. Everywhere he goes locally people greet him by “If you only knew” in reference to his first single “if you only knew”. Mothers and fathers joking tell him that their daughters are “in love” with him. The positive attention and response from critics, fans and peers alike, has been surprising to T-Double. Listeners have been quick to praise his superlative rapping, stage presence and universal appeal. T-Double response to the attention"I didn't know people would accept it so quickly. T-Double has spent nights and days working on producing , writing, with one goal in mind, to be on top with Dr Dre, lil Jon and 50 cent . When asked about the albums he says “It’s all me make things right, I want to be known as one of the greats”. As far as T-Double future the sky is absolutely the limit.
