Story behind the song

On the one hand I think "reduce, reuse, recycle. Don´t make the indian cry!" but then I have to admit that people will always want MORE. MORE, MORE and I don´t really think anything can stop the Western capitalist machine. So should we just enjoy our SUV´s and desposible lifestyle for as long as we can? You decide.
