Greg Lewis, better known by his stage name Blac Kaspa, is an American Rap Artist from Tampa, Florida. He credits his love for music for his early influence into the world of rap. Born and raised in Itta Bena, Mississippi he moved to Tampa looking for a new path and direction in life. My hometown wasn't doing it for me, all that was there for me was gangs, drugs, and factories. I felt like my city raised me to go out into the world. I knew I had a gift of music at 14yrs old. I would watch videos or listen to the radio and just freestyle about my day or what was going on around me, and it was easy as breathing. As far as a career path, no, I just wanted people to know that everybody that listen to rap music are not followers, and that I was blessed with a gift to put life realities into a music artform unfiltered. I started Broken Chainz after a series of being an artist on a few different other labels, and I noticed that all of my CEO's were too busy trying to be puffy instead handling business at hand. So I stepped out on faith, and that was one of the best descision I ever made. My music influences are UGK, GHETTO BOYS, SPICE ONE, 8BALL & MJG, E-40, 2-PAC, PLAYA FLY, OUTKAST, GOODIE MOB, and TOO SHORT. My motivation right now is the current state of Hip-Hop, Its all garbage, brainwashing, filth. The track "I Don't Give a...." resulted from me being fed-up watching videos and listening to the radio and everybody was talking about money. I recorded a song entitled, "I don't give ah," this song is a direct message to these idiots in the game that have no substance with there music. I mean really Hip-Hop is a mess right now. My music is uncharted territory, the obstacles are endless, but the obstacles that should be worried about is me. When you have THE LORD on your side you have the ability to overcome all and any obstacles. I'm already a success, I have a beautiful family, I'm alive, and most of all I have JESUS CHRIST in my life.
