Story behind the song
In the early eighties I used to write songs with a great guy called John Nightingale, we called ourselves 'This Beautiful Hell'. I came up with a nice bassline but having very basic, spartan equipment, we were never able to develop it as we would have liked. I have a tape somewhere with John's vocals on it. If I can find it, I'll try and transcribe his lyrics.
