Why does a Christian end up in the valley of the shadow of Death? And Why can we have peace in the midst of a storm? When you are surrounded by your enemies and when you are subceptible to falling to the flesh why is the Christian comforted?

Story behind the song
This song was written a long time back through the Holy Spirit. It was prophetic of what I would go through in my life. Like David says in Psalms 119:92-96 He delights in the Lord though his enemies have almost consumed him. Even so was and is my Life. The Christian finds comfort and peace in the precious promises of the Lord and meditates on Him even though they can easily and sometimes do fall prey to their inner enemies and outward enemies. The valley of the Shadow of Death is exceedingly dangerous. But the Lord upholds us for in the very valley He shines out and leads us in what we think is bad for us. Even when we are all alone it is a blessing for we have exclusive time with HIM.
