Hey there, My name is Lauren Freitas [lă-ryn frÄ-tÄs]. I am an up and coming singer/songwriter. I write a mix of christian and secular songs. I began writing my own songs about 2 years ago. It has been so amazing to see how God has worked through me and my music. He has taught me so much through the lyrics that He's given me and I feel like I need to be sharing them with the world. It seems to me that in todays Christian music industry the tendancy is to act like you have it all together, that you have this perfect relationship with God when thats not really the case because no one can be perfect. My goal is to reach people where their at, not act like I have all the answers or a closer relationship with God than them. I am human just like all of you and would love nothing more than to use my many mistakes and trials to lead God's people closer to Him. This is my passion, this is my song.
