I started playing guitar at the tender age of 9 - learning Shadows tunes by starting and stopping a cassette tape constantly, sometimes to pick out one note at a time...I went through my teens experimenting with many styles of music (old habits die hard) but finding Albert Lee, Eric Clapton, Brian May, and Gary Moore stuck to me a little more than the hundreds of others. I completed my academic studies at Birmingham Conservatoire, although the addiction of constant analysis of music never stops!
