Story behind the song
The tuning on this is very unusual. It is a perfect 4th down from standard. From EADGBE to BEADF#B...it's the tuning on a baritone guitar, which is what McKee plays it on...although he did do a ver on a standard guitar. But obviously I don't have a bari so I just tuned my Pathmaker down. When the guit is tuned sooo low the slightest strong strike/hit of a string can sound off. Especially at the bridge of the song where the fret tapping starts. I think the intonation might have been a bit off also w/such a radical change in tuning.
