Story behind the song
This song was written about seven years ago. I had spent alot if time prior trying to write clever pop songs or trying to second guess the market and write songs that other artist would cover. I just sat down one day and thought about people loving each other and the obstacles that get in the way of that if we let them. I recorded this on a four track cassette deck and left it on the shelf. One day my brother heard the song and asked why I had never played it for him. His response was so positive that I posted it on various artist sites where I had my music. I've gotten alot of great feedback on the song. I've recently started to put together a set of my songs with just me and a guitar for showcasing in the NY area. I've had to re-learn this song -- I've never played it on guitar (the sounds on the recorded version are all keyboards). I'm looking forward to playing it on front of people.
