Story behind the song
"An empowerment song for my 3/4 life crisis."- Danna
Lyrics
With each day ahead, there’s one that is gone. It’s gone and behind you. Each day you spend, you can’t live again Must I remind you. So rise up and sing, let your voice ring From deep down inside you. Rise up and sing, let your voice ring Celebrate who you are. Stand up and dance, while there’s a chance Move to your own beat Set your spirit free, let the child in you be Joyful and free. Heed the heaven’s above, reach out to love Like love never hurt you Open your heart, run past the hate Before it’s too late. Rise up and sing let your voice ring Ring from inside you. Each day you spend you can’t live again Rise up and sing Stand up and dance, while there’s a chance Move to your own beat Let the child in you be joyful and free Stand up and dance Reach out and love, run past the hate Before it’s too late. Reach out and love run past the hate Before it’s too late. Reach out and love

Always glad to hear you and Dana! You're one of my foremost inspirations as a guitarist songwriter, I know i've said it before though. I just wanted to let it be known! Looking very much forward to our collab in 2011 as well.. So far as this song is concerned man, you and Dana nailed it! Wonderful - splended work.

Shannon-great job. Great track. Great guitar. Would it be at all possible to post the lyrics....for 'old' ears like mine? Yeah, I know a few of mine lacked the clarity I would have liked, but I seldom had a choice. Any old how, GOOD WORK by all of you, gt
