Born in Kansas City Missouri, 1964 John's writing career began at the age of nine. Later on in life Yashrael earned an Associate Arts Degree in Applied Science and Mass Communications. One year later Yashrael served in the U.S. Army as a 31 Kilo Combat Signaler. Yashrael successfully completed his mission in Operation Desert Storm. After 10 years Yashrael left the military to pursue his writing career. His goal was to incorporate meaningful scripts of poetry collaborating them with World Class Music, Hip Hop, and Jazz.
