Lyrics
Bad gig lyrics Intro Verse we had a pretty bad gig today guitar's narked off 'twas pretty gay i was brassed off, we were all brassed off was our damn tough luck hey? Verse 1 our drummer didnt show up for the gig yeah where were we gonna look?,where're we gonna dig? for another to replace that dirty little skivving nitwit we were all pretty wound up by that stage till our singer volunteered to take his place that means i had to sing, oh "sod's law!"this cant go anymore wrong can't it? I might of ruined our only chance to get our band signed with the company gallivanting about as if i was a half drunk nancy boy who had 20 pints of lager we murdered a great arctic monkeys song, how could we live it down, how could we sleep at night? but keep your pecker up squire, it'll all blow away by tommorow morning verse 2 The crowd all made fun of us well its a botch job who gives a fuss? blinkered as they maybe, i'll tell you baby "im over it well yes im over it yeah" oh i cannot be arsed and thats pretty blatant that i aint wasting no time with you lets go out for a bender on the verandah, and later we'll think all this through ohh feelin' right knackered and theres not much left to say we had a pretty bad gig today and yeah i know it was downright gay i might of ruined our only chance to get our band signed with the company but keep your pecker up squire, it'll all blow away by tommorow morning yeah.
