Hi! Thanks for tuning in! My name is Marc and I'm a devoted guitar player for about a decade now. I'd like to use this channel to present my music to a wider audience. Albeit my musical roots are metal and hard rock, I like to take a more experimental approach to music and do not necessarily stick to the rules of one genre. I play all the guitars and bass and wrote all the parts for the drums and synths. I hope you like what you hear! The songs you currently find here are all part of a growing album I'm currently working at. I add new songs whenever I finish them, which is usually about every month, depending on my schedule. My recording gear was updated during the process and my abilities as a producer somewhat evolved. As a result the later pieces are more refined than the rougher earlier recordings. Once everything is done I will release the album as a free download! Enjoy! For higher audio quality visit my channel: Please visit my channel, too :)

Story behind the song
One night I was watching "American Psycho" with some friends of mine. After the final monologue I picked up an acoustic guitar and the first few measures of this piece came out. On the next day I still remembered the melody and chord progression so I worked on it and turned it into "Leaving The Save Shores Of Sanity". Even though the ending of the song gives credit to what inspired me, this song is not just about "American Psycho". It think it rather captures a general feeling of going slightly mad. All you hear is produced by a electric guitar, also the wave noises. Check out my other original songs on my channel! Enjoy!
