Story behind the song
Lyrical inspiration: First two lines attributed to Matt in chat...happened from there. Had to get Helen in to sing it, though, as it's not my sort of song.
Lyrics
Life has ita€™s ups and downs, Ita€™s been pretty good today But still Ia€™m stuck here waiting Trying to find a way Therea€™s no way to make you love me I need a way to let you know That if you were to let me in, Ia€™d never let you go Chorus: Yeah, if you were to let me in, Ia€™d never let you out of my sight Ia€™d keep you safe, youa€™d keep me warm Wea€™d be together every night. I dona€™t know whether youa€™re listening, Or even whether you care If youa€™re ever around, Ia€™ll be waiting here. Chorus If wea€™re talking about forever I hope youa€™ll let me in And if wea€™re talking about never, I dona€™t know where to begin.
