We are a four piece electronic act and our debut album Regenerate took twelve months to complete. Our influences range from film director David Lynch to the music of Depeche Mode Talk Talk David Sylvian Bowie/Eno and Portishead. Our band producer and multi instrumentalist David McKechnie also makes music suitable for film scores and a few examples of this are featured on Regenerate. We all have a wealth of experience from a broad church so our live performances are strong. There are no hard & fast rules to songwriting i.e Sometimes the music is composed first & the lyrics/melody accompany, whereas sometimes the lyrics are the starting point. Both the aforementioned approaches are effective, however if the vocal melody comes before the lyrics are written, then the resulting song more often than not will be weak.
