Demo times: "Winter Shade" was recorded and released in 2000. Second demo, recorded year later, left much to desire from sound quality and was shelved with only few copies made. With slightly wider circulation, third demo cd entitled "Carcass of Empathy" was released in 2001.
Concerts: The Knell performed twice: On January 2005 opening for soundterrorists extraordinaire of Lietterschpich [now Lietterschpich Diet] and year later painting pitch black over progressive sounds of Key of the Moment.
Album: With release of "Winter Shade" band gained support of local label TotalRust Music. Uncertainty with line-up and painful breakup in the 2003 caused delay, but things were back on course when in 2005 deal was signed. Debut album was recorded in the summer of 2006 under supervision of Roni Amir and mastered by Greg Chandler in Priory Studios. "Harm" is being released on January 12, 2007.
