Your musical influences
The electronic stylings of Ninja Tune artists like Kid Koala and Amon Tobin, and well as hip-hop from A Tribe Called Quest to Jurassic 5 and 60's hardbop and cool jazz from the likes or Art Blakey, Jimmy Smith, and Miles Davis combine with the funk of James Brown and the blues of Robert Johnson to influence our eclectic artists.
What equipment do you use?
We run a virtual studio on Windows XP using mainly Propellerhead Reason and Ableton Live with lots of plugins for beats, basslines, synths and keyboards all controlled by an M-Audio Oxygen 49 MIDI controller and Alesis DM5 MIDI drum kit. Guitars and vocals are brought into the mix through Line 6 Toneport and M-Audio Omnistudio respectively.
