Band/artist history
We started as a family music ministry. Wife and daughter weren't really into it, so basically the CD is my son wife and I. Shane is 15 and a hugely talented bass player.
We're adding 2 new members, will probably change the band name, too. Wait and see.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Our goal is to perform whenever and whereever we are able, once we finalize the band and rehearse enough to be effective musical warriors for God.
Your musical influences
Classic rock, southern rock and blues rock. With a few acoustic tunes in there as well. And some instrumentals. I'm 49 years old. My influences are the greats of the late 60's and 70's, the golden age of rock music. Clapton. The Who. Hendrix. Allman Brothers Band. Bad Company. Skynyrd, et al. I LOVE harmony lead guitar and want to bring that to the forefront of Christian music.
What equipment do you use?
I record using a Boss BR-8 studio. Very new to the MP3 world and uploading my music. I play a Fender Strat and a really nice Samick SG with a Peavey Classic 50 amp. Shane uses a Spector bass, an Ashdown head and Genz Benz cabinets.
Anything else?
We're actually changing the band, from a recording duo to a 4-piece lineup. 2 guitars, bass and drums, my favorite rock format. We'll have 2 singers. I'm the geezer at 49, working with my son (15), a 15 year old drummer and a guitarist/singer to be named later. It's gonna be great.

Great job with the music, I live in Bend too, anyways I play drums, piano and sax so if you ever want to incorporate that in a blues song or something, or if you need someone to be a sound guy for a live show or whatever, just let me know. Also stop by my page when you get the chance, it's all stuff I've made on my computer.

What a cool song...What I Really Need. It sounds so fun. It's nice to hear some Bible truth in a really fun sounding rock song. My kids will love this! I'd like them to play it for youth worship at our church!
The Fruit Song, really a catchy beat. I think this one deserves a recut too. It's probably just my lousy PC speakers, but I would really like to hear all these songs on a demo CD. I think its time to follow that dream.

A Man Like Me, another really nicely crafted song. I would love to hear it with a little cleaner mix --- the intro really reminds me of old Deep Purple, and the bridge does to. I think you have some of the best rock licks I've heard, and that's not just cuz I'm your bro, either. I wish my hands could still deliver those kinds of riffs. Hey, Shane, great bass too. Well, gotta go vote now.
