While Non Stop has many albums with great players on sax, trumpet, trombone etc this album is just a trio- JL Holmes- guitar, Glenn Ayers-percussion and Chris Holmes-bass. A percussionist with over 30 years of experience, he was a student of the well-known Puerto Rican percussionist Ray Mantilla. He has played with several groups in various musical contexts, from jazz rock to ethnomusic, pop and jazz fusion. He is currently part of the Latin American music group Encanto. He has a great passion for bossa nova and Latin American music.
