Story behind the song
I almost had my damn left arm amputated and wrote and played the nylon string guitar the day before my surgery thinking it was the last thing I would ever record. Luckily I got full use of my hand again and will continue playing... The second half of the song was written on the last day of March. I'm done being deployed and so "The End of March" got blended into "All That's Left." Novento Roto was a working title earlier in the year. There is a common theme with "Drifting Into One" and "In a False Light" I will be very happy when this tune is finally done, whatever scrambled eggs tie it ends up with!
